Lake Houston HomeSchool is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Founders Classical Academy: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Lake Houston HomeSchool blew Founders Classical Academy out of the water with a 41-11 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-4.

Meanwhile, Humble Christian posted their biggest win since February 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 44-16 victory over Shady Acres Christian. The Cougars pushed the score to 30-9 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mavericks had little chance of recovering from.

Humble Christian's win came from a few key players Lake Houston HomeSchool will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lilly McMullen, who made all 10 shots she took to post 20 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deriyah Williams, who posted seven points along with seven boards and five steals.

Humble Christian now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Lake Houston HomeSchool, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Lake Houston HomeSchool took their victory against Humble Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 by a conclusive 45-20. In that game, Lake Houston HomeSchool amassed a halftime lead of 27-4, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
