Football Recap: Green Mountain Falls to Windsor in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Green Mountain unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Windsor Wizards 55-0 on Friday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wizards apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Windsor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adrian Czyszczon, who rushed for 86 yards and one TD, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. Junior Trotter was another key passer, throwing for 115 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six passes.

Coming up, Green Mountain will face off against Corona del Mar at 8:00 p.m. on the 6th. As for Windsor, they will be playing at home against Longmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
