Basketball Game Preview: Red Bluff Spartans vs. Yreka Miners

The Red Bluff Spartans will challenge the Yreka Miners at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Yreka took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Red Bluff, who comes in off a win.

Red Bluff took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Shasta 64-61.

Kayden Leaf went supernova for Red Bluff, putting up 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Owens, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, Yreka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 51-41 to Anderson.

Red Bluff's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Yreka, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Red Bluff was able to grind out a solid victory over Yreka when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 58-51. Does Red Bluff have another victory up their sleeve, or will Yreka turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
