Everglades came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks 74-58.

Chris Payoutte went supernova for Everglades, going 5 for 8 en route to 13 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nathan Rey, who posted 11 points.

Everglades is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Archbishop McCarthy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-11.
