Basketball Recap: Hanford Takes a Loss

Hanford lost against Hermiston back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hanford Falcons were outmatched by the Hermiston Bulldogs and fell 84-42. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 122nd).

Hanford is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12. As for Hermiston, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Hanford and Kamiakin will face off at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Kamiakin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Hanford likes a good challenge. As for Hermiston, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Walla Walla at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Hermiston's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
