Basketball Recap: Mill River Takes a Loss

Mill River lost against Mt. St. Joseph Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mill River Minutemen were outmatched by the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave and fell 43-7. The match marked the Minutemen's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mill River has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mill River will challenge Long Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Long Trail will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Mill River surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they will face off against Twin Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
