Recap: WF West Bearcats vs. Battle Ground Tigers
The WF West Bearcats lost against the Battle Ground Tigers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. WF West lost to Battle Ground at home by a decisive 68-52 margin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for WF West in their matchups with Battle Ground: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Bearcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Klatush, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for Klatush. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Hoff, who scored 12 points along with five assists.
WF West's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Battle Ground, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
WF West will play host again and welcome Black Hills, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Battle Ground, they will head out on the road to face off against Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
