Crescenta Valley entered their tilt with Glendale on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Nitros by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Crescenta Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-22.

Crescenta Valley pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Glendale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Crescenta Valley and Burroughs will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glendale has already played their next game (against Marquez), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
