Basketball Recap: GREEN Upstate Comes Up Short

They took a blow against the Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes, falling 57-13. The Owls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-11.

GREEN Upstate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Calhoun Falls Charter, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. GREEN Upstate won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Greer Middle College at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Calhoun Falls Charter, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
