Soccer Recap: Franklin Heights Takes a Loss

Franklin Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Worthington Christian Warriors. While losing is never fun, Franklin Heights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 475th, while Worthington Christian are ranked 25th).

Franklin Heights' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Worthington Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2-1.

Coming up, Franklin Heights will take on Buckeye Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Worthington Christian, they will face off against Fairbanks at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
