Basketball Game Preview: Dacula Falcons vs. Buford Wolves

Dacula hasn't had much luck against Buford recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Dacula Falcons will challenge the Buford Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Dacula took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 62-54 win over Central Gwinnett.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buford). They put the hurt on Collins Hill with a sharp 90-66 victory on Wednesday. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wolves had established a 23 point advantage.

The win made it two in a row for Buford and bumps their season record up to 11-3. As for Dacula, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Dacula came up short against Buford when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 56-51. Can Dacula avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
