Baseball Recap: Youngsville Eagles vs. Oswayo Valley Green Wave

Youngsville stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Oswayo Valley Green Wave a 15-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Youngsville considering their two-run performance the match before.

James Johnson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched. Johnson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Johnson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Matthew DeSimone was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Cole Johnson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
