Football Recap: Osseo-Fairchild Takes a Loss

Osseo-Fairchild fell victim to Regis and their airtight defense on Saturday. They were dealt a 43-0 defeat at the hands of the Ramblers. While losing is never fun, the Thunder can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Ramblers are ranked 58th).

This is the second loss in a row for Osseo-Fairchild and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Regis, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Osseo-Fairchild will face off against Mondovi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunder will need to watch out since the Buffaloes have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Regis, they are taking a road trip to square off against Elk Mound at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
