Andrean faced Lake Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Fighting 59ers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 3-1. For the Fighting 59ers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 19-25, 25-20.

Ethan Duong paced Andrean's offense, picking up eight kills. Duong got some help from Trevor Prisby and his 17 assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Andrean and bumps their season record up to 16-4. As for Lake Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5.

Andrean has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Chesterton on the 30th. As for Lake Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Illiana Christian on the 30th.
