Basketball Game Preview: Dundalk Owls vs. Milford Mill Academy Millers

Dundalk hasn't had much luck against Milford Mill Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Dundalk Owls will face off against the Milford Mill Academy Millers at 5:30 p.m.

Dundalk is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Parkville.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milford Mill Academy). They blew past Woodlawn 84-52 on Wednesday. The Millers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Milford Mill Academy pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for Dundalk, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Dundalk came up short against Milford Mill Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 56-47. Can Dundalk avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
