Tullahoma took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Siegel, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats won by a run and slipped past the Stars 11-10. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Madison Goad was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Brinley Gillam, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Tullahoma was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Tullahoma pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Siegel, they moved to 8-5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
Looking ahead, Tullahoma will take on Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Siegel, they will square off against Huntsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
