Meanwhile, Middle Tennessee Monarchs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Mount Juliet Christian Academy 6-5. That's two games straight that Middle Tennessee Monarchs has won by just one run.

Bishop Vines was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was William Crider, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
