Bonita Springs and Barron Collier are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2020, but likely not for long. The Bullsharks will head out to challenge the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bonita Springs has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bonita Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ariana Bandera, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Barron Collier had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Raiders.

Leena Forbes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits.

At the plate, Barron Collier got a massive performance out of Gianna Frino, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Jordyn Kinn was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one double.

Barron Collier always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverdale only posted an OBP of .333.

Bonita Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Barron Collier, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Bonita Springs might still be hurting after the 16-1 defeat they got from Barron Collier when the teams last played back in March. Can the Bullsharks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
