Basketball Recap: East Hickman County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Waverly Central last Friday, East Hickman County came back down to earth. The East Hickman County Eagles took a 53-38 bruising from the Stewart County Rebels on Monday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

East Hickman County's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Stewart County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

East Hickman County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stewart County, they will square off against Cheatham County Central on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Cheatham County Central sitting on eight straight victories and Stewart County on three.
