Basketball Recap: Sarasota Military Academy Comes Up Short

Sarasota Military Academy lost against Babcock back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sarasota Military Academy Eagles lost 52-32 to the Babcock Trailblazers. The Eagles were down 42-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Jameson Habing was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 24 points and nine boards for Babcock. Habing has been hot recently, having also posted three or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Rylen McKee, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 13 points.

Sarasota Military Academy is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10. As for Babcock, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sarasota Military Academy will host Family Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Babcock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mason Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Babcock is facing Mason Classical Academy at the right time seeing as Mason Classical Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
