Basketball Game Preview: Falls City Tigers vs. Freeman Falcons

Falls City and Freeman are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Falls City Tigers will head out to challenge the Freeman Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Falls City came up short against Weeping Water and fell 38-29. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Freeman's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 58-41 to Tri County.

Falls City's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Freeman, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.

Falls City was dealt a bruising 62-16 loss at the hands of Freeman in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Falls City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
