If Dexter was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of New Madrid County Central on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bearcats fell just short of the Kennett Indians by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Bearcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Dexter sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-23, 18-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-10.

Their offense was headlined by Karis Kennedy and Klaire Essner, who picked up 13 kills apiece. They got some help from Sidney Booker and her 25 assists. Finally, Mauriona Menley kept Dexter's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Dexter's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12-2. As for Kennett, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Dexter nor Kennett have any future games scheduled.
