Softball Recap: Bell Takes a Loss

Bell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Jackson-Reed Tigers, falling 17-4. The Griffins were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Bell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jackson-Reed, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5-1.

Looking ahead, Bell will take on Coolidge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson-Reed, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Jackson-Reed Tigers duke it out with Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
