Second-ranked Serra hasn't had a competitive game all season, but they got one Friday from Mitty.

Daylin Mclemore completed 18-of-21 passes for 201 yards and a 38-yard touchdown to Terence Loville and Nate Sanchez rushed for two scores for the winners. It helped offset a big game from Mitty quarterback Shamir Bey, who threw for 261 yards and three scores.

In other Top 25 Bay Area play, top-ranked De La Salle racked up more than 530 yards of offense, led 49-7 at halftime en route to a 70-7 victory over previously unbeaten California. Jacob Oliphant returned a kickoff and punt for a touchdown and Jack Stewardson passed for three second-quarter touchdowns, leading No. 7 and host Monte Vista to a 35-29 win over No. 25 Foothill in East Bay Athletic League play. Bryce Lombardi passed for four touchdowns for Foothill (5-2, 1-1). Monte Vista improved to 5-2 and 2-0.
