Basketball Recap: Tabi Clark's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Pleasant Grove over Lone Peak

Pleasant Grove lost against Lone Peak back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pleasant Grove Vikings fell 40-32 to the Lone Peak Knights.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tabi Clark, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 boards. That's the most rebounds Clark has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Connors, who went 5 for 9 en route to 10 points and six boards.

Lone Peak was led to victory by Tatiana Harness and Maddie Pope. Harness posted six points in addition to nine rebounds and five assists, while Pope went 5 of 9 on her way to 15 points. Charli Warner was another key player, putting up six points.

Pleasant Grove's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lone Peak, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Pleasant Grove has already played their next match, a 57-45 defeat against American Fork on the 14th. As for Lone Peak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-49 win against Skyridge on the 14th.
