Softball Recap: Sealy Comes Up Short

While it was Sealy who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Jordan who put up more. The Sealy Tigers came up short against the Jordan Warriors, falling 15-5. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avery Grigar and Katie Eder did some serious damage despite the final result: Grigar went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple, while Eder scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Those two runs gave Eder a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Karly Kram12, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Sealy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Jordan, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Sealy will venture away from home to square off against Bellville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jordan, they will host Splendora at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.
