Soccer Game Preview: Viewmont vs. Roy

The Viewmont Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Roy Royals at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Viewmont will be strutting in after a win while Roy will be coming in after a loss.

Viewmont barely beat Box Elder the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Bees last Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Viewmont needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Roy's good fortune finally ran out last Thursday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Woods Cross who was credited with the victory. The Wildcats got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Roy's two.

The win got Viewmont back to even at 4-4. As for Roy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-4.
