Highland lost to Gilpin County back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Highland Huskies had just enough and edged the Gilpin County Eagles out 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.
Highland wouldn't go down easily and took Gilpin County into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 23-25, 20-25, 15-9.
Highland is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season.
