Baseball Recap: Garces Memorial Comes Up Short

Garces Memorial was the 4-2 winner over Centennial when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Garces Memorial fell 7-3 to Centennial on Monday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

D'Angelo Flynn put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Flynn was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

Garces Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Centennial, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

While Garces Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
