Basketball Recap: Curtis Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Curtis Vikings were beaten by the Bonney Lake Panthers 60-25. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Panthers are ranked 75th).

Curtis dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bonney Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Curtis will host Spanaway Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bonney Lake, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bonney Lake Panthers take on the Emerald Ridge Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
