Soccer Recap: Desert Hills Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Desert Hills was not quite Pine View's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 4-3. Desert Hills were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pine View apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Desert Hills hit Pine View with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Boone Heaton, Todd Simister, and Zack Wisan.

Desert Hills has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Pine View pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Desert Hills is taking a road trip to square off against Hurricane at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Desert Hills will be up against Hurricane's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.57 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pine View, they will host Cedar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
