Volleyball Recap: Atlas Preparatory School Comes Up Short

Atlas Preparatory School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers, falling 3-0.

Atlas Preparatory School was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Cripple Creek-Victor work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-10, 25-22.

Atlas Preparatory School's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Atlas Preparatory School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against St. Mary's on the 16th. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Swallows Charter Academy on the 18th.
