Basketball Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the South Warren Spartans and fell 64-19. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Spartans are ranked 115th).

Warren Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for South Warren, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Warren Central has already played their next contest (against Apollo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. South Warren will face off against Logan County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
