Recap: Brookstone Cougars vs. Westfield School Hornets
The Brookstone Cougars lost to the Westfield School Hornets back in January of 2023, but the Brookstone Cougars didn't allow the Westfield School Hornets the same satisfaction on Friday. Brookstone took down Westfield School 59-41.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brookstone to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grayson Miley, who scored 13 points. Miley continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Fuller Jones, who scored 12 points.
Brookstone's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Westfield School, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
Brookstone will head out on the road to face off against Kendrick at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westfield School, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against First Presbyterian Day at 4:00 p.m. First Presbyterian Day is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.
