Volleyball Recap: Southlands Christian Has No Trouble Against Calvary Baptist

Southlands Christian won the last time they faced Calvary Baptist and things went their way on Thursday too. Southlands Christian blew past Calvary Baptist 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

While Southlands Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-22.

Southlands Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Calvary Baptist, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southlands Christian will face off against Western Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calvary Baptist, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on EF Academy at 6:30 p.m. on April 7.
