Volleyball Recap: Cocke County Comes Up Short

Cocke County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Knoxville Central Bobcats.

Hailee Hartsell paced Cocke County's offense, picking up three kills. Hartsell got some help from Kate Kickliter and her five assists.

Cocke County's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Knoxville Central, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Cocke County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Sevier County on the 9th. As for Knoxville Central, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Seymour on the 8th.
