Monroe County posted their biggest victory since December 13, 2024 on Monday. They breezed by the Flomaton Hurricanes to the tune of 65-37. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Despite the loss, Flomaton still got an impressive performance from Zykenzie Martin, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deandre Hayes, who had seven points.

Monroe County has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Flomaton, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Monroe County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-48 win against T.R. Miller on the 28th. Flomaton has also already played their next matchup (against Blacksher), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
