Volleyball Recap: Union Find Success

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Union had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Ogden Tigers 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Aliah Martin had an outrageously good game as she had 21 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September. Braidee Lamb also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Union was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive contests.

Union's win bumped their record up to 19-13. As for Ogden, their loss dropped their record down to 17-14.

As of now, neither Union nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
