Primero had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Kim/Branson Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

While Primero won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-23, 25-11.

Kim/Branson is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Primero will head out on the road to face off against Walsh at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kim/Branson, they will square off against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
