Turkeyfoot Valley Area won the last time they faced Ferndale and things went their way on Friday too. The Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams blew past the Ferndale Yellow Jackets 71-34. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Leading Turkeyfoot Valley Area to victory were Lance Jones and Bryce Nicholson. Jones went 11 of 17 en route to 25 points in addition to six boards and five steals, while Nicholson went 7 for 9 on his way to 16 points and seven steals. Nicholson is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Zack Ryan was another key player, putting up six points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.

Turkeyfoot Valley Area was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ferndale only racked up ten assists.

Chance Washington and Caleb Fenton certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Washington dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards, while Fenton posted 12 points.

The win was the third in a row for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, bringing their record for this year to 14-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.7 points. As for Ferndale, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.
