Basketball Recap: West Anchorage Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Anchorage can now relate to. They took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grace Christian Grizzlies. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

West Anchorage's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Grace Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. West Anchorage will square off against Dimond at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Grace Christian, they will challenge Ketchikan at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Ketchikan will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Grace Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
