Volleyball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

After flying high against El Dorado Springs on Tuesday, Skyline came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Butler Bears by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Tymber Pinon paced Skyline's offense, picking up 30 kills. Pinon got some help from Jenna Hunt and her 31 assists. Finally, Pinon was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Georgia Mccoun had an outrageously good game for Butler as she had 34 digs. That's the most digs Mccoun has posted since back in September. Alex Trudell also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 21-10-2. As for Butler, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-1-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Skyline nor Butler have any future games scheduled.
