Football Recap: Southern Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Southern Prep Academy fell victim to Coosa Valley Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 2-0. The Fighting Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Southern Prep Academy and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Coosa Valley Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Southern Prep Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-14 defeat against Evangel Christian Academy on the 5th. As for Coosa Valley Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
