After a string of four wins, Cashion's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Calera Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Kellen Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Nabavi, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
