Phillipsburg entered their tilt with Voorhees on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Vikings. This was payback for the Stateliners, who suffered an 11-9 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Phillipsburg's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Voorhees, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phillipsburg will face off against The Pingry School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Voorhees, they will head out to square off against Manville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
