Softball Recap: North Creek Jaguars vs. Kamiak Knights

North Creek took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Kamiak, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Jaguars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Knights on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Knights on Monday, they had to take a 8-1 loss.

Reagan Fleming was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Grace Pinder was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
