Basketball Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. The game between them and the West Campus Warriors didn't end well, with the Johnson Warriors falling 84-67. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Johnson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-48 on January 8th.

West Campus got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Edmund Michalski out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Michalski's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zach Villanueva, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 assists.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for West Campus, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.

Johnson will head out to challenge Burbank at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Campus, they will host Florin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Campus is facing Florin at the right time seeing as Florin is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
