Basketball Recap: Albuquerque Has No Trouble Against Atrisco Heritage Academy

Albuquerque hadn't done well against Atrisco Heritage Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Albuquerque Bulldogs took down the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars 74-57. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered an 81-61 loss the last time these two teams met.

Albuquerque has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Atrisco Heritage Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-9.

Coincidentally, Albuquerque and Atrisco Heritage Academy will both be playing Los Lunas the next time they take the court. Atrisco Heritage Academy will head out to face Los Lunas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Albuquerque will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
