Soccer Game Preview: Hillcrest vs. La Sierra

The Hillcrest Trojans will challenge the La Sierra Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Wednesday, Hillcrest didn't have quite enough to beat Ramona and fell 2-1. The Trojans have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Hillcrest's goal came courtesy of Daniel Hernandez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, La Sierra was forced to settle for a draw. They and Temescal Canyon finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.

With that draw, La Sierra's record moves to 1-2-1. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-3.
