Recap: North Brunswick Scorpions vs. Heide Trask Titans
The North Brunswick Scorpions entered their tilt with the Heide Trask Titans with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. North Brunswick took down Heide Trask 82-66 on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Malakhi Daniels was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Caleb Bernard, who scored 11 points.
When it comes to explaining why Heide Trask lost, one person who can't be blamed is Myron Mckoy. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points along with 7 assists and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Martez Davis, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
North Brunswick has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 3-0 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.7 points per game. As for Heide Trask, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
